Through the quality-of-life tax initiative, city staff wanted to showcase what some of those dollars were used for. This is the Veteran’s Park lighting project that was recently completed and will serve the community better as citizens are able to walk around Veteran’s Park in the morning and evenings. It is with these dollars that we are able to continue to enhance, upkeep and maintain our parks. The City of Great Bend wants to thank the community for their continued support of these projects.&nbsp;

Great Bend shows off new lighting around walking path
