The Barton County Health Department is conducting a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic this afternoon at Brit Spaugh Park. The event will be held from 2-5 pm.
Individuals who are immunocompromised because of a health condition or medical treatment and have already been vaccinated with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be eligible for a booster shot. For that group of people, health officials recommend getting the additional shot. Documentation of a qualifying condition is not required.
During the drive-through clinic today, medical personnel will also be administering first and second doses of all preparations of the COVID-19 vaccine. So you can choose between Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
To expedite your vaccination, eligible persons may visit bartoncounty.org to download and complete the vaccine consent form found under the COVID-19 tab.
