Planning for the future is hard when you’re still paying for the past. Each year the First Christian Church in Great Bend offers a nine-week program to help community members win with money.
In Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University”, you’ll learn how to beat debt and make a plan for the future. Clayton Noffsinger and Randy Goering have facilitated over 30 classes for the Great Bend community.
This is a step-by-step plan to win with money. Financial Peace University teaches you how to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely and invest for your future. For over 25 years, Dave Ramsey’s been teaching common sense, biblical money principles that work...EVERY TIME.
“Financial Peace University was a game changer for my family as well as for the Noffsinger’s.” Randy Goering shared. “Clayton and I are committed to share our stories and help as many people as we can, take control of their money.”
It’s a simple plan to follow, and the class members provide a good support group for each other. The class is open to anyone in the community.
“Because we meet at the church, that doesn’t mean you need to be a church member,” Goering said.
Of the six million people who have completed Financial Peace University worldwide, the average household pays off $5,300 in debt, and saves $2,300 for emergencies in the first 90 days of the program.
The class meets at First Christian Church, 5230 Broadway in Great Bend, at 7 p.m. each Monday evening for nine weeks. Persons interested in reducing debt, and winning with money can show up for the first lesson on Jan. 17 or register in advance at fpu.com/1142880 . Some scholarship funds are also available.
“Several of our alumni class members felt so good about the class that they wanted to assist others wanting to take control of their money,” said Goering.
