The Republican House of Representatives unanimously voted Wednesday for Representative Tory Marie Arnberger-Blew as Majority Whip for the 2022 Legislative Session.

“Being a part of the leadership team is a huge honor and I am eager to get to work for our caucus. With being the deputy whip for the past three sessions, I am confident that I am prepared for the next steps,” Arnberger-Blew said.

Representative Arnberger-Blew was elected in 2016 at the age of 23 to the 112th district. The district includes the towns of Great Bend, Hoisington, Redwing, along with a large portion of rural Barton County.

Arnberger-Blew is also the Vice Chair of Federal and State Affairs, Chair of the Kansas Young Republicans, the Co-Chair of the Kansas Future Caucus and a 2021 graduate of the Kansas Emerging Leaders program.

“Having someone under 30 I think will benefit the leadership team and help advance legislation in the House. My generation is a bulk of the work force, and with the economy being a popular topic this year, I think I can deliver a different perspective to our caucus.”
