On a social media post, Bookies Bar and Grill announced the permanent closing of the restaurant on south Main Street in Great Bend.
The closing went into effect Tuesday, July 13.
The post went on to say Bookies struggled to recover following their reopening after the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff also stated there are future plans for the building at 619 S. Main Street that will be announced a later date.
