ELLSWORTH- After 10 years of dedicated service to the Ellsworth community and surrounding area as the owner of Paden's Place, Aaron Johnson has turned his keys over to a new owner, Eleonor "Ele" Stambaugh. Ele is excited to open the doors with a fresh look as Ele's Corner.
Paden's Place has long been known for home-style dining, daily specials, cold beer, homemade pie, and local ownership for many years. Aaron took over the management reigns 10 years ago, maintaining much of the original spirit of the restaurant, and also battling and adapting through the challenges of COVID.
Aaron has a decade of special memories, delicious meals, joyful moments, and dedicated customers to take him into his next adventure.
"To our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and the entire community, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your support, love, and encouragement. You have been an integral part of the restaurant's journey," Aaron said. We look forward to seeing Ele's Corner thrive and continue to be a cherished gathering place for the community. We are confident that the new owners will carry on the legacy of exceptional food and warm hospitality as they bring fresh ideas to the table."
Ele Stambaugh is an experienced restauranteur and is excited to bring her culinary skills to the community, as well as new and exciting opportunities for gathering and entertainment.
"I and my husband Dustin are committed to this community, and it has been my dream to open my own restaurant. Ele's Corner will be providing the community's favorite menu items that they have come to love, as well as some new menu items and, as the community has requested, we will be providing breakfast. We look forward to serving you at Ele's Corner."
Ele's Corner will close for a short time for the transition, with a soft opening planned for August 16, along with a ribbon cutting ceremony. A grand opening celebration with new offerings is planned for September 1.
