PRATT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Thursday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevy pickup driven by John J. Kitts, 47, Pratt, was stopped at a stop sign on NW 20th Avenue at NW 110th Street. The driver failed yield to a westbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Betty J. Young, 68, Iuka.
The Jeep struck the pickup in the intersection.
EMS transported Young to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Kitts was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
