From the Great Bend Economic Development...
Have you heard about the loft project grant money and wondered how to get started? Are you a banker, general contractor, architect, investor, realtor, etc. that wants to know how to participate in these projects? Then join us on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 for the Upstairs Downtown Workshop!
In this workshop we’ll be joined by professionals, Dan Carmody and Mike Jackson, to better understand the steps involved to building an upper floor loft or commercial space, get first hand knowledge on some financial incentives, and see some examples of existing successful loft projects. Carmody and long-time colleague Mike Jackson have presented Upstairs Downtown in 18 different states since 2005. A primer on how communities and building owners can tackle vacancies on the upper floors of downtown has been a popular tool for towns to build momentum for upper floor development.
This event it brought to you at no cost by Great Bend Economic Development. It will take place at the Great Bend Events Center and be conducted over a day and a half. Be prepared to walk away with knowledge, ideas and the pieces to your project puzzle. Below you’ll find the agenda for the duration of the workshop:
