Great Bend Post
While renovations in the 3700 block of 10th Street have been ongoing for several months, Great Bend officially has a new pizza restaurant open.
Domino’s hosted a “Friends and Family and Special Guests” benefit Monday evening and are operating through a “soft open” the rest of the week.
General
Manager Tiffany Hawthorne said while the restaurant is tidying up a few loose
ends, they will be available for service.
"We have product and are able to provide services to the community," said Hawthorne. "We're at limited times right now but will be fully open soon."
The pizza place, at 3703 10th Street on the east side of the Cottonwood Center, is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. the rest of the week. Hawthorne noted her staff is hopeful to be open under their normal hours beginning Monday, Dec. 20.
The Great Bend Domino’s has roughly 20
employees on staff with six considered full-time.
"Basically, all my managers are full-time," said Hawthorne. "I have five managers, myself included would make six."
Along with carryout and delivery options, the Great Bend Domino’s has dine-in
seating for 30 individuals.
Once the store goes to normal operating hours, Domino’s will be open 10:30 a.m. - 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. They will stay open an extra hour on
Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.
