If you go their website, the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce has posted plans continue to move forward for the 124th Annual Labor Day Celebration scheduled for September 4-7.
With the threat of COVID-19, the Chamber also states that things are changing weekly, if not daily and a final decision on each event taking place has not been finalized at this time.
Hoisington City
Manager Jonathan Mitchell echoed those words on the Focus on Hoisington radio
show that aired last week on 1590 KVGB & 95.5 FM.
"No firm decision has been made because it is such a fluid situation," said Mitchell. "The Chamber board will meet this month and early August to continue discussions."
The Chamber board is expected to meet multiple times within the next month to continue
discussions of hosting this year’s Labor Day Celebration which consists of one
of the largest parades in Kansas.
"If you have thoughts, ideas or concerns contact Chamber members or the Chamber of Commerce directly," Mitchell said.
