Crews from the Great Bend Fire Department conducted rope training Wednesday, May 3 at American Plains Co-op. The Fire Department simulated having to both raise and lower a possible victim.
In most instances fire crews would just lower the patient to the ground but it is always good to add variables into training for different potential scenarios that exist.
