Great Bend Post
One of Great Bend’s strategic plan goals is to replace all the
wayfinding signs in town so that they look similar to the welcome signs.
Wayfinding signs are positioned around town to direct motorists or individuals
to points of interest and city locations.
The Great Bend Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board was instructed to
make a plan and $50,000 was saved to pay for the project.
Marks Custom Signs placed a bid for $44,950 for 15 new wayfinding directional
signs.
The Great Bend City Council will be asked to approve the purchase at their upcoming
meeting, Monday, July 3 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
