Great Bend Post
Credit Union of America has been in Great Bend since 1975 and this week
they celebrated the completion of their renovations and advancements in
technology. Kelly Higgins, Assistant Vice President of Retail Operations at the
credit union in Great Bend, said the same services are available but some come
with a different look through the remodel.
"It's wonderful to finally have it done," said Higgins. "We're excited to have members see all the changes with upgraded technology but still have the same friendly, smiling staff they're used to take care of them."

The biggest change at the credit union located at 4708 10th Street
are the TAP (Transaction Assist Professional) Tellers. The TAP Tellers are
sophisticated ATMs that allow you to conduct teller transactions such as
depositing checks and cash, home equity advances, loan payments, VISA payments
and cash withdrawals. If you need assistance, you choose the TAP button and a
teller will appear on a screen and converse in real time with you.
"A teller can pop up on the screen and you're still talking to a live person," said Higgins. "This is a little safer for my staff. The chances of being held up or robbery situations are minimalized because the cash is more secure."

The drive-through lanes were also widened to make room for the TAP Tellers for
motorists.
Credit Union of America held a ribbon cutting and an open house Thursday, Aug. 19 in
celebration of the remodel.
