The Golden Belt Humane Society is asking for donations from the community as they find themselves at capacity, with most of those animals being kittens.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Heather Acheson, Director of Golden Belt, says with the large number of cats to feed, food is&nbsp;at the top of the “most-wanted” list.&nbsp;

"We are in need of Purina Kitten Chow, Purina Cat Chow, canned cat food,&nbsp;and then also the kitten powdered milk replacer.”&nbsp;

Acheson said that many of the kittens are needing to be bottle-fed with some being cared for by foster families.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Golden Belt’s next adoption event will be October&nbsp;3rd&nbsp;at&nbsp;Orschlen’s&nbsp;from 10am to 2pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;
