
On Wednesday, Jan. 1, at approximately 7:03 p.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department stopped a white 1999 Ford Explorer in the 900 block of Morphy Street for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Aaron Villalobos, age 22, was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license. The vehicle was searched for illegal narcotics, based on the odor of burnt marijuana, where cocaine and approximately $1,800 in cash were located and seized.
Villalobos was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
