City employees honored for service, including two with 45 years of employment

City employees recognized for their years of service at the Great Bend City Council meeting Dec. 2, 2019.

There were 24 City of Great Bend employees recognized Monday night at the Great Bend City Council meeting for reaching milestone years of service. The honored employees had a combined 515 years of service to the city.


Great Bend Human Resources Director Randy Keasling announced their names and those present received certificates from Mayor Joe Andrasek and City Administrator Kendal Francis.


"It is an honor every year to recognize staff that have defined success," said Keasling. "They have made years of service with the city and we are very pleased to recognize these folks."


The recipients will be honored again at a luncheon at the Great Bend Events Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4.
