Captain Wayne Gore announced his retirement from Larned State Correctional Facility (LSCF) after 32 years of service with the State of Kansas. Captain Gore began his career in 1992 as a Corrections Officer I promoting through the ranks and ending his career as the Fire and Safety Officer.
Captain Gore’s wealth of knowledge on the facility and safety regulations has been a true asset to the facility. Throughout the years, Captain Gore has been willing to step up and take on a variety of tasks.
The first day of his retirement journey started on March 19.
