Great Bend High School, Eisenhower Elementary School in Great Bend and
Country Place Senior Living in Hoisington were all named to the state’s
COVID-19 cluster list.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment publishes the names of
locations that have five or more coronavirus cases with symptom onset dates in the
last 14 days.
Country Place Senior Living had nine cases with the latest onset date of
Oct. 3. Great Bend High School and Eisenhower Elementary had
five cases within the last 14 days with the latest onset date of Sept. 27.
Cases are associated or linked to a particular location through public health
investigations.
KDHE releases the data for more transparency about the exact locations where
people are potentially exposed and to empower Kansans to be proactive about
assessing their own personal risk.
