Barton County Young Professionals (BCYP) announced their partnership with Engage Kansas in hosting a special event featuring Brenden Wirth, Director of Political Affairs at Kansas Farm Bureau. The event aims to emphasize the importance and significance of active involvement in public serives and encourage individuals to consider running for office.
Scheduled to take place in Gambino’s on June 21st at 12PM, this event is set to inspire and inform participants about the power of community engagement and the positive impact it can have on shaping our neighborhoods. BCYP believes that by demystifying public service and making it more accessible, we can empower individuals to act and bring about meaningful change from the grassroots level.
Engaged Kansas, an organization dedicated to promoting civic participation and facilitating connections between communities and public service, shares BCYP's mission. Together, they strive to encourage people from diverse backgrounds to get involved in shaping their communities and contribute to the progress of society.
