From the Barton County Fair Association...
The Barton County Fair Association is proud to announce that this year’s fair will be an in person event to be held at the Expo Complex July 7th thru July 11th.
This year’s theme will be “A New Beginning”. In conjunction with the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail and the Barton County Fairs 30th anniversary. It was only natural to think that all the travelers along the Santa Fe Trail were looking for a new beginning. Coming out of a national pandemic, we too are looking for a new beginning.
This year’s entertainment lineup will include Christian recording artist Riley Clemmons, local band Home Brew and country recording artist Ricochet. Several events will be included in this year’s fair two evenings of corn hole contest, sand volleyball contest, family fun bike ride, Cruise Barton County poker run and several other fun events. Food vendors, commercial exhibits and 4-H/Open Class exhibits will return as well.
Unfortunately for the first time the Barton County Fair will be without a Carnival, due to the pandemic many carnivals went out of business. However, the fair is going to host three evenings of Fun Games to test your skills. Bringing back the old time county fair will be an exciting experience for all.
More information will be listed on our website bartoncountyfair.com as they become available. We will also be continuing fun activities/contest on our website. Exhibitors can also enter their displays on-line through our website or enter them at the fair on Wednesday, July 7th from 8am to 12pm or 6 to 7 pm.
