BUSINESS NEWS

After 45 years in business, owner, Ken Wells, announced his retirement from the guttering business. Rather than to simply close up shop, Wells Seamless Gutter has entered into an agreement with C&V Kansas Doors to extend services to existing customers.

C&V Kansas Doors has been a friendly competitor of Wells for many years, serving Central Kansas since 1976. This merger will allow Wells’ customers continued service for years to come.

Matt Hoisington, owner of C&V Kansas Doors, stated, “This is a great opportunity for Ken and his family to continue the Wells’ reputation as one of the longest running gutter businesses in Central Kansas. We currently have a full-time gutter crew and this merger will potentially allow us to add a second crew.”

It also allows C&V Kansas Doors to expand its full-service gutter business (steel and aluminum seamless guttering, Leaf Guard, commercial guttering, etc.).

“I’d just like to say ‘thank you’ to the many customers I have had over the past 45 years. It’s fun to drive around town and see the hundreds of homes I have touched over the years. I know my company is in good hands.” said Wells.

The merger officially took place on July 1, 2020. Wells’ current customers can contact the C&V Kansas Doors office at 620-796-2500 with any questions or service needs.
