Bike Brew Q Craft Expo to go virtual; bike rides will still be held

The Bike Brew Q Craft Brew Expo will shift to a virtual format for 2020. The bike rides will still be held on July 25 including the first-ever Bike Brew Q Mountain Bike Race, sponsored by Golden Belt Bicycle.

Event Chair Ryan Fairchild said he is very hopeful that the event can be held in its traditional format next year.

“Due to the uncertain nature of the current health situation, we have decided to transition the in-person Bike Brew Q craft beer expo to a virtual event for 2020,” Fairchild said. “After much deliberation and work, the conclusion is that we cannot in good conscience, gather so many people in one space without putting people at risk. This decision was very difficult for us to make as we know that this will hurt our ultimate goal of raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Bike Brew Q will refund all craft beer expo tickets and be releasing information on what a virtual Craft Beer Expo will look like in the coming weeks.

"We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. We want to thank our presenting sponsor Stone Sand Company and our supporting sponsors for sticking by us as we make this transition. All cycling events will continue as planned, including the 1st annual Bike Brew Q Mountain Bike Race presented by Golden Belt Bicycle. Through hard work and kindness, we will persevere!”
