Barton County Health Department received notification from Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) that effective immediately Kansas Providers may administer an additional dose of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The additional dose is recommended for people who are moderately and severely immunocompromised due to a health condition or medical treatment and have already been fully vaccinated with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
Documentation of qualifying condition is not a requirement. The vaccine recipient may self-attest.
Barton County will conduct a drive through vaccination clinic:

All preparations of the vaccine will be available, and individuals may receive their 1st, 2nd or 3rd dose at this event.
It is not required, however, to expedite your vaccination, eligible persons may visit www.bartoncounty.org to download and complete the vaccine consent form found under the COVID 19 tab.
