After losing to Great Bend 4-1 last week in Great Bend, the Hays High Indians turned the tables on the Panthers Tuesday in Hays. The Indians turned in their best performance of the young season, notching a 2-0 win over Great Bend at Hays High.
Freshman goalkeeper Cannon Meder recorded a shutout in his first start, and the Indians got goals from Diego Muller and Adrian Salas to move to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in Western Athletic Conference play.
Great Bend lost for the first time in Western Athletic Conference action and drops to 2-1 in league play and 2-2 overall.
The Panthers return home to host Maize South at the Cavanaugh Soccer Complex.
