WYANDOTTE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Friday.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Division reported officers were dispatched to the area of N. 11TH Street and Grandview Blvd. in Kansas City and discovered a dirt bike with a man and a woman nearby.
Both were transported to an area hospital where the woman was pronounced deceased. The man is being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police released no additional details including the names of the victims early Saturday.
