LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — JaMycal Hasty rushed for three touchdowns and No. 11 Baylor forced six turnovers in a 61-6 victory over Kansas. Charlie Brewer threw for 182 yards and a touchdown as Baylor equaled the school record for wins in Matt Rhule’s third season as coach.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Jordon Brown and Jacardia Wright ran for touchdowns, Joshua Youngblood took a kickoff back 93 yards for another score, and Kansas State beat Iowa State 27-17 in a defensive slugfest. The Wildcats only managed 57 yards passing and 291 yards of total offense, but they scored the final 13 points while holding the Cyclones’ high-powered offense in check.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Kennedy Brooks rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown to help No. 7 Oklahoma beat No. 21 Oklahoma State 34-16. Jalen Hurts passed for 163 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 63 yards and a score and caught a touchdown pass for the Sooners in their fifth straight victory in the series.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Courtney Ramey made two free throws with 8.4 seconds left, enabling Texas to escape with a 73-71 victory against McNeese State. McNeese’s Leondre Washington missed a 3-point attempt at an upset with three seconds remaining.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri has fired football coach Barry Odom. The dismissal ends the four-year stay of a respected former player who took over a program in disarray but could never get the Tigers over the hump in the brutal SEC. The Tigers finished 6-6 and 3-5 in the conference after beating Arkansas on Friday. That left Odom with a 25-25 record, a perfectly middling mark after Gary Pinkel’s successful run.

National Headlines

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Joe Burrow padded his Heisman Trophy resume with 352 yards and three touchdowns passing as No.1 LSU clobbered Texas A&M, 50-7. Burrow has 4,366 yards and 44 touchdowns passing this season, smashing LSU single-season records in both categories. His yards passing total also broke the SEC record, while his 44 TDs tie the conference single season mark.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Second-ranked Ohio State beat No. 10 Michigan for a school-record eighth straight time as J.K. Dobbins ran for four touchdowns and Justin Fields threw for four more in a 56-27 rout at Ann Arbor. Dobbins ran 211 yards on 31 carries, while Fields was 14 of 25 for 302 yards. Fields appeared to suffer a left knee injury in the third quarter, but he returned to throw a 30-yard scoring strike off a scramble to help the Buckeyes improve to 12-0.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — No. 3 Clemson stretched the nation’s longest winning streak to 27 games by blowing out South Carolina, 38-3. Trevor Lawrence threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ sixth consecutive win over their state rivals. Travis Etienne broke a pair of career conference records by running for two scores, giving him 53 rushing TDs and 57 total touchdowns for Clemson.

ATLANTA (AP) — Fourth-ranked Georgia also enjoyed a laugher as Jake Frohm threw for four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 52-7 thumping of Georgia Tech. Frohm was 14 of 29 for 254 yards, connecting on scoring throws to Charlie Woerner, Tyler Simmons, George Pickens and Dominick Blaylock. Georgia finished the game without running back D’Andre Swift, who injured his left shoulder during his second fumble of the day.

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Alabama’s CFP hopes were destroyed by Auburn as Shaun Shivers scored on an 11-yard run with 8:08 left to put the 16th-ranked Tigers ahead in a 48-45 win over the No. 5 Crimson Tide. Auburn survived a final, marathon Crimson Tide drive when Joseph Bulovas’ 30-yard field goal attempt hit the left upright with 2:00 to play. Zakoby McClain brought back an interception 100 yards for a touchdown, and Smoke Monday had a 29-yard interception return for a score as the 9-3 Tigers dropped the Tide to 10-2.
