Israeli flag cut down, ripped up at Kansas fraternity house

DOUGLAS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a vandalism report Monday night at the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, 1116 Indiana Street, in Lawrence, according to a media release from Lawrence Police.

The house had an Israeli Flag and American Flag flying on their flag pole until Sunday night when a member of the house called police to file a report.

The Israeli Flag had been cut down and ripped up and later found about a block away.  The American Flag was still attached to the rope and on the ground near the flagpole.

 A detective visited the house and police are working to secure additional evidence.
