FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged sex crimes.
On Tuesday, police were dispatched to the west part of Garden City, where they met with a woman who alleged that an altercation took place between her and a man she knew identified as 24-year-old William Lopez-Guerra, according to a media release.
The investigation revealed that Lopez-Guerra went to the woman’s residence and broke her cell phone and sexually assaulted her before leaving the scene.
Police later located Lopez-Guerra and took him into custody on requested charges of Rape and Criminal Damage.
