SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities investigating the fatal weekend accident have identified as 54-year-old Steven C. Johnson of Topeka.
Just before 9p.m. Saturday, a motorcycle driven by Johnson was southbound in the 3600 Block of SW Burlingame Road in Topeka, according to police Lt. John Trimble.
Johnson was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered life threatening injuries. EMS transported him to a Topeka hospital where he died.
