The Great Bend Lady Panthers avenged a loss to host Clay Center earlier in the day to claim the title at the Clay Center Invitational on Saturday.
Great Bend beat the Tigers 25-22, 25-20 in the championship match after Clay Center had beaten the Lady Panthers 25-23, 22-25, 15-25 in pool play.
Great Bend defeated Chapman 28-26, 25-13 and Valley Heights 19-25, 25-16, 25-17 in their other two pool play matches.
The Lady Panthers (4-4) return to action Thursday at Lindsborg in a triangualar that will also feature the Ellinwood Eagles.
