The Kansas City Chiefs have cut ties with one of the stars of their Super Bowl victory.
NFL Network's Ian Rapaport reports the Chiefs are releasing running back Damien Williams.
Williams has been with KC since 2018. Williams scored two touchdowns and ran for 104 yards in the Chiefs 31-20 win over San Francisco in Super Bowl 54.
Williams opted out of the 2020 season, because of COVID concerns related to his family.
