Police: Suspects were selling fentanyl, meth from Kansas home

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating three suspects on drug and theft allegations.

On August 8, 2024, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit served a search warrant in the 2500 Block SE Illinois Avenue in Topeka related to an ongoing investigation, according to Topeka Police  LT Ronnie Connell.

While conducting the search warrant, officers located fentanyl, methamphetamine, stolen property and drug paraphernalia.

As a result police arrested 51-year-old  Amy Jensen; 40-year-old Jerry Lewis and 36-year-old  Cameron Laska.

 Jensen is being held on requested charges of Distribution of Fentanyl, Distribution of Methamphetamine, Drug Tax,  Distribution/Possession with intent of drug paraphernalia and  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 Lewis is being held on requested charges of Possession of stolen property, Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Laska is accused of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
