WYANDOTTE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Thursday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Audi A6 driven by Camille Breonne Carter, 20, Kansas City, Kansas, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of 18th Street.
The car struck a pedestrian who was walking south across the highway. The pedestrian died. The KHP is working to positively identify the victim. Carter and three passengers in the car were not injured.
