SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that injured two Kansas boys.
Just after 11:30p.m. Thursday, police responded to a "check shots" incident near Elm and Dellrose in Wichita, according to police spokesman Andrew Ford
First responders located a total of 15 cartridge casings. A short time later, two boys, ages 15 and 11, walked into Wesley Hospital. Both had a gunshot wound to their leg. The injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, according to Ford.
At this time, investigators believe; the two boys were operating a vehicle.
