Larned – Leland Sylvester McAlister, 86, passed away October
24, 2020 in Larned.

He was born September 30, 1934 in Wayne, Oklahoma, the son
of Grover Wilburn and Veta May Gregory Burris. 

A longtime area resident, he was a welder. He served in the
United States Air force at McConnell Air Force Base in the 3520th
Flight Line Maintenance Squadron. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed
hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and dancing.

He married Lauralee Cessna; she preceded him in death.

Survivors include: mother, Veta Burris, Great Bend; five
children, Lori (Bob) Wilson, Lyons, Curtis (Deb) McAlister, Larned, Kevin
(Cindy) McAlister, Overland Park, Deanna (Chris) Harrison, Port Orange,
Florida, Donnie (Cheryl) Stejskal, Tualatin, Oregon; three sisters, Laveta
Furthmyer, Gorham, Fredia Burris, Great Bend, Wanda Dodson, Hays; a brother,
Glenn Burris, Ellinwood; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great
grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife; a sister,
Gloria Barrientez, a brother, Rennie Burris, and a great grandson.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7,
2020 at Saint Marks Episcopal Church, 520 East Avenue S, Lyons, Kansas, with
Pastor Byron Barrientez presiding. Inurnment with military graveside rites will
be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Lakin Comanche Cemetery,
Ellinwood, Kansas.

Sisters’ convent infirmary, Great Bend.&nbsp;
She was born January 19, 1927, in Nashville, KS, the daughter of Edward

entered the Dominican Sisters Community in 1943 and pronounced vows in
1946.&nbsp; Sister Edith Marie ministered as
an educator, serving as teacher and/or principal from 1946-2010.&nbsp; At that time she retired at the motherhouse

Sister
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three
sisters.&nbsp; She is survived by one sister,

John Arlin Keeler, 79, passed away October 28, 2020, at his home in Great Bend.
He was born June 25, 1941, at Great Bend, to Claude Leo Keeler, Sr. &amp; Iva
Mary (Wetig) Keeler. He married Beverly Kuhn and they later divorced.

A Great
Bend resident since 1972, John previously lived in Liberal, Russell, and
Hutchinson. He was a tree crew foreman for Mid West Energy, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend. John loved to hunt and
fish, garden and do yard work, and in his younger years, was a motorcycle
enthusiast. 

Survivors
include, three sons, Scott Keeler and wife Amy, Mike Keeler and wife Melissa,
and Kevin Keeler, all of Great Bend; six brothers, Claude L. Keeler, Jr.,
Donald Keeler, Charles Keeler, and Larry Keeler, all of Great Bend, Ivan Keeler
of Colorado City, Colo., and Marvin Keeler of Salina; and two sisters, Connie
Eilts, and Marilyn Luenberger-Frank, both of Great Bend; and two grandchildren,
Mason Keeler, and Kylynn Keeler. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two
brothers, Darrel Keeler and Eldon Keeler.

AMARILLO, TEXAS - Robert Dale Howard,
66, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020, at his home in Amarillo,
Texas.&nbsp; He was born July 10, 1954, in
Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Bobby and Helen (Nickerson) Howard.&nbsp; He was united in marriage to Jane Johnson on
October 9, 1977.&nbsp; They later
divorced.&nbsp;

Robert was a longtime resident of Great
Bend, Kansas before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005 and Amarillo, Texas in
2016.&nbsp; Robert worked for Snap-On Tools,
before becoming a truck driver and then the manager of Wonderland RV Park.&nbsp; Robert enjoyed hunting and sports, but what
he loved the most, was spending time with family and friends, especially his
children and grandchildren.&nbsp; 

Survivors include, a son, Bart Howard
and wife Brooke of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Darrell Howard and wife Donna
of Cottonwood, Arizona, and Russell Howard and wife Ramona of Larned, Kansas; three
sisters, Elizabeth Rahm and husband David of Cottonwood, Arizona, Barbara Weber
of Okeene, Oklahoma, Sharon Poirior and husband Paul of Wichita, Kansas; and
three grandchildren, Hadley, Jax and Cohen Howard of Amarillo, Texas.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents; and a

Ronald “Ron” Lynn Drake, 63, passed away October 26, 2020, at the University
Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. He was born July 17, 1957, at
Farmington, New Mexico, to John &amp; Mary (Campbell) Drake. He was married to
Marcia Kite for 32 years and they later divorced. He married Dana Scothorn July
10, 2010 at Great Bend. She survives.

A lifetime
Great Bend resident, Ron was the owner of Drake’s Lawn Service for over 40
years. He was an avid hunter, a great cook, he loved to play all different
sports, tell stories, and was an Elvis fan. He knew how to put a smile on your
face and especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

Survivors
include, his wife Dana Drake, and son, Jace Drake, both of the home; two
daughters, Alicia Mong and husband Bryan of Sand Springs, Okla., and Melissa “Rooney”
Edmonson and husband Jesse of Hutchinson; two stepsons, Justin Scothorn of
Great Bend, and Jonathan Scothorn of Hutchinson; a brother, John Drake and wife
Sandy of Lakeland, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Madison Galemore and husband
Jerry, Alexis "Lexy" Montoya and fiancé Jacob Stanley, Raylynn Mong,
Aaron Edmonson, and Austin Edmonson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bend. He was born August 17, 1925, at Dundee, to Henry &amp; Catherne
Schroeder. He married Harriet Ann Rice and they later divorced.

A lifetime
Barton County resident, Howard was a blaster and painter for Cooper Coating in
Ellinwood. He was a life member of the VFW Post #5657 in Ellinwood. He served
in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool and bowling. 

Survivors
include, three sons, Gary Schroeder, and Larry Schroeder and wife Jennifer, all
of Great Bend, and Richard Schroeder of Hoisington; a daughter, Rebecca Adams
of Venus, Texas; a brother, Bythel Schroeder; a sister, Alice Miller; nine
grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents; and ten siblings. 

Visitation
will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Bryant

Andrea Kay Nelson, 73, passed away October 25, 2020, at Woodhaven Care Center,
Ellinwood. She was born August 3, 1947, at Great Bend, to Marvel V. &amp; Vera
I. (Irvin) Burfield. She married Delbert Nelson on June 15, 1967, at Great
Bend. He survives.

A Great
Bend resident since 2001, coming from Otis, Andrea was a music education
teacher, a Pastor and choir director for church. She was a member of Otis
United Methodist Church, LaCrosse United Methodist Church, the United Methodist
Women. Andrea never knew a stranger. She enjoyed crafts and scrapbooking, but
especially loved to spend time with her sons and grandchildren. 

Survivors
include, her husband Delbert Nelson of the home; two sons, Andrew Nelson and
wife Jessica of Great Bend, and Dale Nelson and wife Janice of Longmont, Colo.;
a brother, Pastor Bruce A. Burfield and wife Keli of Lindsborg; and four
grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Emilee, and Victoria. She was preceded in
death by her parents; and two brothers, Brent Burfield and Marvin Burfield.

Andrea Kay Nelson

Eunice Perle Horchem, 99, passed away on October 22, 2020 at the 
Rhode Island Suites in Ransom, Kansas.&nbsp; She was born on May 23, 1921 in 
Plainville, Kansas the daughter of Perle Edwin and Otis Amber (Crandall)
 Tilley. She was raised in Great Bend, Kansas.

As a child Eunice enjoyed visiting her grandparents’ farm Southwest 
of Ransom.&nbsp; Her grandfather bought her a pony, “Danny”, for her to ride 
when she visited.&nbsp; There she learned her love of horses and raising 
wheat.&nbsp; When she married her husband, Dave, he bought her a beautiful 
Palomino named, “Tony”.&nbsp;

Eunice’s father was a music teacher and started her on violin lessons
 at the age of three.&nbsp; She played in many contests and won many awards.&nbsp;
 After graduation from high school Eunice continued to study music in 
college.&nbsp; She attended Fort Hays University and then a College in 
Denver, Colorado.&nbsp; She was an accomplished violinist. She taught in a 
one room school near Hoisington, Kansas.&nbsp; On October 17, 2946 she 
married Dave Horchem in Topeka, Kansas.&nbsp; He preceded her in death on 
January 29, 1996.&nbsp; From her home in Ransom, Eunice taught violin and 
accordion to many local students.&nbsp; She taught Sunday school in the 
Ransom United Methodist Church where she was a member &nbsp;and provided 
violin music for many church services, programs, weddings, and 
funerals.&nbsp; She also appreciated art and painted many beautiful 
paintings.&nbsp; Anytime someone needed help with an art project for school 
she was there to help.&nbsp; She was a homemaker and farmed with her family.

Survivors include her son, David Horchem or Ransom; daughter, Paula 
Huxman of Leawood, Kansas; grandchildren; Lana Vaughn and her husband, 
Dean, and Scott Huxman and his wife, Whitney; five grandchildren, Logan,
 Preston, and Morgan Vaughn and Julia and Luke Huxman; and one sister, 
Pauline Wood of San Antonio, Texas and her son Mark (Ron); nieces, 
Sharon McKinney, Mary Lou Willour, and Jane Lovelady (Jan). She was 
preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave Horchem; a daughter, 
Carol; granddaughter, Stacy; and a sister, Anna Belle Brack.

Funeral service and burial will be on Friday, October 30, 2020, 11:00

for the Larned State Hospital. She was a member of Sacre Heart Catholic Church,
Larned, and KOSE (Kansas Organization of State Employees), Larned.

On July 14, 1990 she married Michael Walker at Larned; they
later divorced.

Survivors include: two sons, Alex Walker (Hannah Foster),
Larned, Bryce Walker, Salina; two brothers, Tim (Janelle) Dreiling, Lake Kiowa,
Texas, Doug (Denise) Dreiling, Scott City; and two sisters, Nancy (Dan)
Peschka, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Judy (Jim) Damm, Larned.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill

Larned – Debra Lynn Belcher, 60, passed away October 24,
2020 at Hospice House of Hutchinson, Hutchinson, Kansas.

She was born September 8, 1960 in Norton to Robert and Mary
Jo Sparkman Horesky.

Moving from Norton in 1990, she was a longtime area resident
and worked at Larned State Hospital as a mental health developmental disability
technician.

On March 10, 1993 she married Michael Belcher at Las Vegas,
Nevada; he survives.

Other survivors include: mother, Mary Jo Horesky, Norton;
three brothers, Robert Horesky Jr. and Jim Horesky, both of Norton, John
(Tammy) Horesky, Russell; four nephews and one niece.

She was born October 23, 1935 in Linn, Kansas. The daughter
of Vergil Samuel and Edna Marie Peterson Hanna, she was one of fifteen
children.

A longtime area resident she worked at Alco in Larned. She
was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed fishing, bingo, embroidery, and
going to the casinos. She loved cats, especially her own, and she was a
collector of many things.

On July 18, 1959 she married Kenneth “Bud” McGee in San
Bernardino, California; he preceded her in death on October 11, 2002.

Survivors include: two sons, Tony (Paula) McGee, Moore,
Oklahoma, Randy McGee, Wichita; daughter, Janda Van Loenen, Lane, Kansas; five
grandchildren: Terry McGee, Megan McGee, Jeff Smith, Donnie Van Loenen, and
Gayle Van Loenen-Golden; twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great
grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Great Bend resident, Rebecca was a sales person for over 30 years at J&amp;L
Coins. She was a wonderful cook. She loved her cats and dogs, but especially
loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

include, a son, Christopher Kuhn (fiancé Nika Stoks) of Rochester, Minn.; a
daughter, Bonnie Kuhn and (Eric Zecha) of Great Bend; a daughter in heart,
Janell Tracey of Great Bend; a brother, Ted Bertram and (Sherry) of Kansas
City, Mo.; two sisters, Sarah Richley (Craig) of Lee Summit, Mo., and Melissa

Wayne L. David of Leawood, KS, passed away October 15, 2020. He was born December 12, 1932 in Winfield, Kansas to Samuel and Hazel David.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of Leawood, Kansas, son Mark R. (Karen) David of Ipswich, MA, daughter Ann David of Mission, KS, son Kurt (Kathy) David of Lenexa, KS and grandchildren Jennifer David of New Orleans, LA, Charlotte David of, Ipswich, MA, and Hayden David of Olathe, KS and a brother Tom (Judy) David of New Orleans, LA.

Wayne graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agronomy in 1955. He served 2 years in the US Army Signal Corps and Army Security Agency at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. After discharge, he worked for Cargill, Inc. in the grain division as a terminal elevator superintendent and Western Regional Superintendent for 40+ years. After retirement he enjoyed woodworking and travel. He traveled to Alaska three times, driving twice on the Alaskan Highway and once via the Alaskan Maritime System along the Inside Passage. He drove the entire Canadian Highway #1 from West to East and to nearly all the states in the US. With the KSU Traveling Wildcats, he and Sandra toured Russia, China and Italy. The joy of his life were his children and grandchildren.

He was a member of Church of the Resurrection and the Masonic Lodge of Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Habitat for Humanity, the Agriculture Department of Kansas State University or the charity of your choice.

Orville R. Bowers, son of Leora Bryant, was born January 11, 1943, in 
rural Sycamore, KS in Montgomery County and passed away at the Andbe 
Home in Norton, KS on October 19, 2020, at the age of 77.

Orville grew up in Sycamore and Ottawa, Kansas. He served in the United States Navy.

On March 24, 1978, he married Marilyn Magill. Together, they lived 
mostly in the Hoisington and Great Bend communities, where Orville 
worked for the Railroad.&nbsp; Following his retirement the couple moved to 
Almena, KS.&nbsp; They helped raise two of their grandchildren, Brandon and 
Dalton McDowell in that home.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Orville had a passion for hunting, fishing, and buying/selling stuff. He enjoyed gardening and caring for his animals.

Following Marilyn’s death in 2013, Orville continued to live in Almena
 with his grandchildren until his health required him to move into the 
Andbe Home in Norton in 2018.

Survivors include his four children, Brian McDowell of Garden City, 
KS, Teresa Strickland of Lyons, KS, William David McDowell of Colorado, 
and Denise Ryan of Ledyard, CT; 12 grandchildren; 11 great 
grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his Wife Marilyn Kay Bowers.

Cremation was planned.&nbsp; A private family inurnment will take place in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Almena, KS at a later date.

Ellinwood. She was born on July 13, 1929, at Hoisington, to Ed and Catherine
(Theisen) Seyfert. She married Morris E. Stukey April 18, 1948 at Hoisington,
Kansas.&nbsp; He died March 14, 2008.

A lifetime
Great Bend resident, Ramona was a paraprofessional for USD 428, having also
worked at Dairy Queen and Coast to Coast. She was a member of Prince of Peace
Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed
gardening, crocheting, embroidery, camping, boating, and puzzles. She
especially loved to spend time with her family. 

Survivors
include, two sons, Morris L. Stukey and wife Joyce, and Larry Stukey and wife
Linda, and a daughter, Brenda Petersilie and husband Dale, all of Great Bend; a
brother, Harlen Seyfert of Glendale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and fourteen
great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Morris E. Stukey; a brother, Norbeith Seyfert; and a sister, Calista Stuart.

She was born on September 26, 1922, in Comanche County, Kansas, the daughter of John &amp; Minnie Sinkle Wait.  A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1953 moving from Protection, Kansas, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kansas.

On May 3, 1942, she married G.T. Riner in Protection, Kansas.  He passed away on July 26, 2011, in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors include her Two Sons - Ronald &amp; Sue Riner of Scott City, Kansas, Bill &amp; Sue Riner of Scott City, Kansas, Three Daughters - Roma &amp; Joe Murphy of Great Bend, Kansas, Trudy &amp; Don Eikenberry of Scott City, Kansas, Connie &amp; Kevin Wilkinson of Goodyear, Arizona, One Brother - Merle Wait of Protection, Kansas, Fifteen Grandchildren, Thirty-Five Great Grandchildren, and Eight Great Great Grandchildren.

Bend - Charles Phillip Aldrich, 79, passed away October 16, 2020 at Wesley
Medical Center.

He
was born in Garfield, Kansas on April 17, 1941 to Charles Edgar and LaVergne
(Appel) Aldrich.

Phil
graduated from Garfield High School in 1959, Fort Hays State University in 1964
and then Washburn
Law School in 1967. He started his career as an attorney in Salina, KS with
Blackwell and
Knudson and then later moved to Larned, KS and opened Aldrich Law Office in
1972. He was
elected as Judge of the District Court of the Kansas 24th Judicial District in
1975 where he proudly
served Pawnee, Rush, Hodgman, Edwards, Ness and Lane counties for 17 years.
Upon leaving
the bench, he reopened Aldrich Law Office and retired in 2002.

Since
his retirement he has enjoyed coin collecting, politics and telling lawyer
jokes, often to those
in a quiet doctor’s office waiting room. He loved to create, build and share
his memories through
his many eccentric carpentry creations. He was a man of many ideas and loved to challenge
others to think beyond the norm, often beyond their comfort zone. He took great
pride in
his family and their accomplishments. His unique, quixotic humor and
unconventional wisdom will
be missed. &nbsp;He lived with much purpose
and resolve and cared deeply for his family.

He
married Thyla Abrahamson in 1961. And from this union came three children
(Greg, Doug and
Beth).&nbsp; They later divorced.

&nbsp;He married Marilyn (Marty) Fitch in 2008 in
Lincoln, NE which added a step-son, Ross Fitch to his family. &nbsp;

Great Bend resident, Darrell was a service manager for the chevy dealership. He
was a member of Faith Community Church. He enjoyed watching tv, especially

OTIS - Norma
Jean Wagner, 85, passed away October 18, 2020, at her home in Great Bend. She
was born July 27, 1935, in Bison, Kansas to Jacob &amp; Rebecka (Brack)
Hartman.

Norma was a
waitress for many years and helped open up the Pizza Hut on Main street in Great
Bend, waitressing there for 15 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran
Church of Otis. 

She met
Harold Wagner, the love of her life, in December 1958 and married him on June
21, 1959. Norma and Harold looked forward to every October going to Albuquerque,
New Mexico, for the 8 day Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. She loved it. Norma and
Harold were on a chase crew for 20 years and attended for 23 years. It was
wonderful. 

She was a
proud mother of two girls, Deby (Wagner) Newsome, and Kim (Wagner) Roach, both
of Great Bend; three grandchildren, Courtney James Wagner, Jayden Roach, and
Jacob Roach; one sister in law, Arlene Maier of Colby; her beloved shih tzu,
Abby; special friends, Paul and Karen Lambert, and Britt and Amy Guthrie; and her
grandchildren in heart, Garett Guthrie, Gavin Guthrie, Dave Meyer, and Rachel
Bennison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Rebecka Hartman;
her husband, Harold Wagner; a brother, Marvin Hartman, and twin brother, Norman
Hartman.&nbsp; 

Visitation
will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2020, with
family to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral
Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis, with

Clifford LaVerne “Red” Steckman,
84, of Bunker Hill, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Hays
Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

Red was born May 11, 1936 in
Maywood, Nebraska.&nbsp; He was one of six
children born to Doral C. and Mae Etta (Noah) Steckman.&nbsp; He grew up in California and Nebraska,
graduating from Palisade, Nebraska in 1954.&nbsp;


Red served his country in the U.S.
Air Force for eight and half years.&nbsp; He
was a Crash Rescue and Fireman.

Red was united in marriage to
Patricia Thayer on May 17, 1957 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, while he was in the
military.&nbsp; This union was blessed with
five children; Cliff, Leroy, LaResa, Charles and Tonnett.&nbsp; After his service, they lived in Macksville,
Wichita, St. John, Johnson, Colby and Bunker Hill.

Red was an independent Truck Driver
for many companies.&nbsp; He was the owner and
operator of the Steckman Construction Company in the 70’s.&nbsp; He was a Lineman for St. John and Johnson,
Kansas; did road maintenance in Stafford County, ran a loader for Brown &amp;
Brown and Venture Corp in Great Bend and retired from Venture.&nbsp; He was a member of the Russell American
Legion Post #99.&nbsp; Red was an adventurous
man who enjoyed being outside.&nbsp; He loved
fishing, hunting coyotes and sharing his great sense of humor with family and
friends.

Surviving family include his wife
of 63 years, Patricia of the home; sons, Cliff Steckman of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, Leroy Steckman (Joetta) of Russell, Kansas, Charles Steckman
(Deborah) of Houston, Texas; daughters, LaResa Likes (Eugene) of Great Bend,
Kansas and Tonnett Rusch (Ruby) of Ellsworth, Kansas; sisters, Frances Moreland
of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Lee Summers of Whitewater, Kansas and Mary McCune of
Pratt, Kansas; 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Red was preceded in death by his
parents, brother Doral Eugene Steckman, sister Claudine Butters and grandson
Colton Leroy Cousins.

A Memorial Graveside Service will
be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Bunker Hill Cemetery in
Bunker Hill, Kansas.&nbsp; Cremation has taken
place and no visitation will be held.&nbsp;
Military Rites will be conducted by the Russell V.F.W. Post #6240 Honor
Guard.&nbsp; A Memorial has been established
at the Clifford Steckman Memorial Fund.&nbsp;

Selma Fay
Webb, 87, died October 16, 2020, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington.&nbsp; She was born

August 10, 1933, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ottis
Clinton and Mable (Hefley) Flippin.&nbsp; 

On August 26, 1952, she married Harold Harvey Webb in Wagoner,
Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2002.

A resident of Hoisington since 1964, Selma was a homemaker and
had worked at Clara Barton Hospital as a dietary aide and in housekeeping.&nbsp; She was a member of the New Life Baptist
Church of Hoisington.

Selma was always very involved in her community. When her
children were young, she was a Boy Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader, led
fundraisers for sports teams and other organizations, and was a co-founder of the
Hoisington Youth Wrestling Club.&nbsp; Later
she was active with the Heritage Club, RSVP Thrift Store, volunteering for the
Blood Mobile, and as a Pink Lady at Clara Barton Hospital. When not
volunteering she loved to travel.&nbsp; She
was blessed to get to take multiple trips both domestic and abroad, visiting
several different countries. She enjoyed group bus tours and mission
trips.&nbsp; She was a voracious reader, and
her trips were often inspired by reading about a place and convincing Harold,
or later her close companion Garry, that they needed to go check it out.

Selma is survived by; sons, Phillip Webb and wife Celia of
Hoisington, and John Webb and wife Courtney of Noble, Oklahoma; a daughter,
Martha Jones and husband Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters-in-law, Julie Webb
of St. Louis, Missouri, and Marcia Webb of Carl Junction, Missouri; longtime
companion, Garry Dassow of Hoisington; sisters, Nina Hulsey of Grove, Oklahoma,
and Jayne Mitchell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, Corey Webb, Scott
Webb, Samuel Webb, Nathan Webb, Joseph Webb, Dacon Parks, Rachel Jones, Ethan
Jones, Ryan Webb, and Grant Webb; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three
sons, Alan, Paul, and Mark Webb.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at
Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, with family present to greet friends from 6:00 to
8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Elmwood

Luerman, Sr., 88, passed away October 16, 2020, at his home in Hoisington,
Kansas.&nbsp; He was born March 1, 1932, on
the family farm north of Susank, the son of Herman C. and Mathilda A. (Meyeres)
Luerman.&nbsp; John graduated from Hoisington
High School in 1950.&nbsp; He later enlisted in
the United States Air Force serving from 1952 to 1955.

On December
29, 1962, he married Phyllis N. Neal in Hoisington. She preceded him in death
just 8 days ago, on October 8, 2020. 

A lifetime
Hoisington area resident, John was a farmer and also spent time working in the
oil field.&nbsp; He was a member of the
American Legion Post #286.&nbsp; John enjoyed
bowling and playing cards, and time spent with family and friends.

Survivors
include three sons; John Luerman and wife Amy of rural Susank, Andy Luerman and
wife Becky of Ashland, and Billy Luerman of Susank; six grandchildren, Shyla
Goodnight (Aaron), Anthony Luerman, Jay Luerman (Joanna), Shelby Luerman, Damon
