CAROL  L.  STILES 

            Carol L. Stiles, age 81 years, longtime Great Bend, Kansas resident, passed away on Monday evening, November 9, 2020 at MedicaLodges of Great Bend Care Center.  Carol was born on June 1, 1939 at Larned, Kansas to Roy and Mildred (Sears) Wilson.  She graduated from Rozel High School at Rozel, Kansas in 1957, and was united in marriage to Robert F. “Bob” Stiles on October 7, 1961 at Rozel.  Carol worked as Secretary and Bookkeeper for Eddie Stremel Oil Service, Central Kansas Medical Center, and CPI Qualified Plan Consultants for many years prior to her retirement.  She was an avid bowler, loved traveling, and enjoyed growing plants and flowers.  She was also active with the Campfire Girls program in many capacities. 

            Survivors include her husband, Robert F. “Bob” Stiles of Great Bend, Kansas; one son, Rob (and his wife Christianna “Tia”) Stiles of Des Moines, Iowa and one daughter, Pam Stiles (and her companion David Parker) of Salina, Kansas.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

            Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Charter Funerals in Great Bend, Kansas with Rev. Morita Truman officiating.  Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery north of Great Bend, Kansas.  Visitation will be from 8:30 AM on Friday until service time at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Online condolences may be left for the family and a complete obituary notice may be viewed at http://www.chartergreatbend.com.
