Winners were announced for the 2025 Pitch Hit & Run competition held in Great Bend on July 1. More than 80 children participated at the Great Bend Sports Complex, showing off their baseball and softball skills.
Scores will be submitted to the Pitch Hit & Run website on Thursday and the Great Bend Recreation Commission and Great Bend Optimist Club will hear back from them sometime in August on if any of the local participants qualify for the Team Competition at Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City.
