Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 and their grownups are invited to visit the Kansas Wetlands Education Center from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. and again from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 28th for its next nature-based Turtle Tots program about whooping cranes. Children will learn about the tallest and rarest bird in North America, along with whooping crane migration patterns and how whooping cranes feed their chicks.
