Brandon Anderson officially started his position as Great Bend City Administrator in July last year. Just over a year later, he has announced his resignation from the position. Anderson’s final day with the city will be Aug. 9.
Anderson spent the previous 27 years in Texas, including his last stop before Great Bend as city manager for the City of Levelland, Texas.
Anderson stated he submitted his 30-day notice, pursuant to this employment agreement. He added he is resigning for personal reasons.
Anderson replaced Kendal Francis after Francis resigned in January 2023. Assistant City Administrator Logan Burns served as interim administrator until the hiring of Anderson last year.
The next Great Bend City Council meeting is Monday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m.
