
Fort Hays State University’s upcoming Science Café is set for Monday, Feb. 2.
This month’s presentation, “Fossils, Museums, and 66 Million Years,” is sponsored by FHSU’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) and will begin at 7 p.m. at The Venue in Thirsty’s Brew Pub & Grill, 2704 Vine.
Dr. Amanda Peng, FHSU Assistant Professor of Geosciences and Curator of Paleontology and Geology at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, will discuss how the landscape of the Great Plains has shaped past and present life, as well as what museums contribute to the study of biodiversity.
Please note, while drinks will be available for purchase, NO FOOD WILL BE SERVED during Science Café.
