Karen Eileen Davis, 76, passed away Dec. 19, 2022, at her home in Great Bend. She was born Feb. 12, 1946, at Monte Vista, Colo., to Isaac & Helen (Reimer) Rempel. She married Paul Davis Sept. 9, 1966, in Denver, Colo.
Coming from Denver in 2001, Karen was a Great Bend resident. She was a cosmetologist by trade and loved what she did. She was a member of Faith Community Church. Karen enjoyed painting, crafts and decorating, especially interior decorating.
Survivors include, her husband, Paul Davis of the home; two daughters, Michelle Jarvis of Livingston, Texas, and Charlonda Wells of Ellinwood; a sister, Kathy Dahmer of Castle Rock, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one to arrive in March 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Abe, Vernon and Randall Rempel; and two sisters, Evelyn Ennis and Mary Rempel.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Sandy Kennedy presiding. A private family interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials have been designated to the Karen Davis Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
