Scholar's Bowl season is underway at Holy Family School. The team traveled to Chase on Feb. 9 for a preseason competition and gained valuable experience.
HFS will host a Scholars' Bowl on Monday, Feb. 23, beginning at 3 p.m. Teams who will participate in this 5th and 6th grade meet will be from Jefferson, Riley, Eisenhower, Lincoln, Park, CKCA, St. Joseph from Ellinwood, and Holy Family. The competition will be Round Robin with eight teams playing each other for a total of seven rounds. Questions will be from the areas of Social Studies, ELA, Math, Science, Fine Arts, Miscellaneous, Sports and Current Events.
The public is invited to attend and decide for themselves if they are smarter than a 5th or 6th grader!
