Viewers across Kansas will have the opportunity to experience the excitement, talent, and tradition of the Miss Kansas competition when Smoky Hills PBS broadcasts the 2026 Miss Kansas & Miss Kansas’ Teen Finals on Saturday, June 13.

The competition, which took place on June 6, brought together contestants from across the state to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Kansas 2026.  The televised broadcast will allow viewers to relive the memorable moments, inspiring performances, and crowning of the new Miss Kansas.

For decades, the Miss Kansas program has provided young women with opportunities for personal and professional growth while emphasizing scholarship, leadership, community service, and achievement. Contestants showcased their talents, shared their community service initiatives, and demonstrated the qualities that make them outstanding representatives for Kansas.

“The Miss Kansas competition highlights the accomplishments and aspirations of remarkable young women from communities across the state, and we’re proud to share their stories with our audience in Central and Western Kansas,” said Michael Quade, SHPBS Director of Broadcasting.

The broadcast will feature competition highlights, special performances, and the announcement of the newly crowned Miss Kansas 2026.
