
Rep. Tory Marie Blew kicked off her campaign Tuesday for the state Senate in Great Bend. More than 60 guests attended the event at Dry Lake Brewing in her hometown.
“I’m the consistent, common-sense conservative in this race. You all know that if you have questions, you can always reach out to me. I’m truly blessed by all of your support,” Blew told the crowd.
Blew launched a campaign for state Senate after serving three terms in the Kansas House of Representatives. She filed to run for the Senate on August 30.
TORY MARIE BLEW BIO
Tory Marie Blew announced her first run for the state legislature while a senior at Fort Hays State University. She was the youngest member of the Kansas Legislature from 2017 to 2021. She is a former Kansas Young Republicans chair and currently serves as the Kansas Young Republicans National Committeewoman. She also serves as the co-Chair of the Kansas Future Caucus under the Millennial Action Project.
Blew holds a bachelor’s degree in business education from FHSU and previously worked as a teacher. Today, she is the Human Resources Director for the family business, Pryor Automatic Fire Sprinkler.
She is a Great Bend native. Blew married her husband, Justin Blew, in 2020.
