
PAWNEE COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Larned man on charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor, according to a media release from the KBI.
Just before 6p.m. Friday, KBI agents executed an arrest warrant for Alexander M. Jacobs, 36, of Larned, in the 300 block of West 4th Street in Larned, Kansas.
Jacobs was arrested on requested charges that include two counts of criminal sodomy of a child, two counts of electronic solicitation of a child, and one count of indecent solicitation of a child. Following his arrest, Jacobs was booked into the Ford County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
On April 10, 2026, the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office requested KBI assistance to investigate allegations that a 15-year-old victim had been sexually assaulted in Pawnee County on April 6, 2026.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
