Area children are invited to participate in the annual Bike Safety Rodeo, sponsored by The Hoisington Police Department, Clara Barton Medical Center, Hoisington Kiwanis Club and The Great Bend Pilot Club from 8 until 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 29th at the Clara Barton Medical Center west parking lot in Hoisington. Participants will learn basic bike safety and traffic signals in addition to riding a bike obstacle course. Everyone gets a free helmet and some lucky kid will even win a free bike.
