On Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 6:43 p.m., officers of the Great Bend Police Department responded to a residence located at 2214 Tyler Street, Apt. B, in Great Bend, in reference to the execution of a narcotics search warrant.
Sharr Hamby, age 39, was apprehended inside the residence. Detectives located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and other controlled substances. Hamby was placed under arrest for distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug stamp.
