The Golden Belt Community Concert Association will present The Suits at 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium, Lakin and Stone. Four young men perform four genres of hit music from the ‘50s through the ‘80s: Motown, Doo Wop, Pop and Rock. The group fuses choreography, harmonies, showmanship and audience participation to make the concert a memorable experience.

The Suits perform such hits as the Four Seasons’ Oh, What a Night, the Temptations’ My Girl, the Beatles’ Can’t Buy Me Love, Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered, as well as hits by Billy Joel, Journey, and many others.

This GBCCA event is open to association members. No single tickets are available. Because the association encourages young people’s interest in music and the performing arts, full-time students will be admitted to the concert for a $5 donation at the door.

As part of the kickoff for the association’s 2026-2027 membership campaign, membership renewal envelopes will be ready for members to pick up as soon as the doors to this concert open at 6:15 p.m. The renewal envelopes will be placed alphabetically according to last name for pick-up around the perimeter of the east side of the auditorium until 6:55 p.m. and will be available again during intermission. Those who wish to renew right away can do so at the Membership Table (not at the envelope pick-up table). Those who renew early will be entered into a drawing for concert swag.

The Golden Belt Community Concert Association and the Great Bend Recreation Commission provide eight handicap parking spaces in front of the northeast entrance of the auditorium for every concert. Blue cones placed at the curb before each space designate handicap-only parking.
