The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Cooking for 1-2” on Wednesday, December 11, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street). Cooking for 1-2 can be a hassle, and it may seem easier to opt out for take-out or a frozen dinner. However, there are many ways to cook tasty, healthier meals for 1-2. Learn these methods with minimal food waste while maximizing your wallet! The speaker will be Karissa Winkel, K-State Research and Extension - Cottonwood District.
