The city of Bushton, Kansas, underwent a notable transformation following the closure of its school last year. Rather than allowing the facility to remain unused, the community repurposed the building into a multi-functional city center, which now accommodates municipal offices, including City Hall. Additionally, the building features a thrift store named "God's Got This," further serving the community's needs. The Bushton Mural, a striking feature of the city, is equally captivating at night as it is during the day. Special thanks to Tom Swain and Loren Orth for their contributions, as it truly adds to the city’s aesthetic appeal.
On June 7, Mandy Whitlock, will open a new store called "Mandy’s Chaos Candles Etc." This shop will offer a variety of handmade items from different vendors, alongside handmade candles and wax melts. As a wife and mother of a family of six, this venture is a step toward achieving a better work-life balance, allowing Mandy to transition away from her current job as a corrections officer and devote more time to her family.
Our store hours will be:
· Fridays: 4 PM to 8 PM
· Saturdays: 10 AM to 8 PM
· Sundays: 12 PM to 6 PM
The plaza is located at 500 South Main, room 114 in Bushton.
